This is my coat of arms! The face of the shield is colored green white and red as to represent my Italian heritage. These colors have a second meaning however, green being my favorite color and representative of serenity, and red, representing the passion i hold for some of my ideals. My three words are obviously food, clothes and medicine. I saw it fitting because philosophies and inspirational catchphrases can change depending on a person's point of view, or mindset, whereas everyone undoubtedly needs Food, Clothes, and Medicine. My animal I thought would be a koala because from what I understand, they just chill for an extended period of time, eating some eucalyptus in the meantime, and they're fuzzy and just the cutest little things I ever did see! Some sources of pride include some of the photographs included, taken by me over the summer. Photography has become a major hobby for me over the summer and these are some of the fruits of my labor. That dignified gentleman with the immaculate beard is James Randi, somewhat of a hero to me. In a world of blind faith and compliance, James Randi dares to speak out against, and actively disprove commonly accepted, false, ideas. He has been the leading skeptic in American society for the past three decades, disproving Uri Geller (the self proclaimed psychic), multiple televangelists, and the ineffectiveness of homeopathic supplements in curing disease or sickness. I share that kind of passion for objective thinking, and that's why Mr.Randi is included on my coat of arms. If i had 40 dollars, I would purchase that toy helicopter and hang it in my room, because i like it! I like to think i have somewhat of a talent in photography, and its something I want to be known for, something I'm good at, and are all parts of pride in my life. And if I could be promised success in any endeavor in life, I would love to travel the world with a camera and document other cultures, real, unique, traditional cultures, not whatever it is we have here!
